So......now that the IPhone stepped it's game up, is the tilt still a better device? I am happy with my tilt, but I must admit that the IPhone is now stepping up. Is the Tilt/Windows mobile phone still better than the IPhone? When the tilt 1st came out it was way better, but now the IPhone has GPS, Cut/Paste, 3G and all that + a great web surfing/media experience. Speak on it!

The iphone is not a PDA. It does not have Windows Mobile. The Tilt is a PDA and it's PRIMARY purpose was for business apps...Word, Excel, etc.

That being said, the iphone is a good device for playing with.

The IPhone can sync to Business mail and pretty much do anything that a so called "PDA" can do. What I am asking is what can the Tilt or any other PDA do that an IPhone can't? Is MS Office the only thing that WMobile has over an IPhone?

The tilt came out in 2007...what do you expect? the HypePhone 3G is better than the tilt if you're comparing options and apps but the tilt has a qwerty keyboard which is great for people who uses the phone for text and email. HypePhone is really consumer friendly where as the tilt is not. If you don't like complicated, the tilt isn't really for you. The tilt compares more to the iphone 1-2g, iphone 3g is more in comparison with the HTC touch pro 2/HD IMO.

I have a 2 tilts , 2 Iphones & the 8125. They are all in near mint condition. The 2 tilts and 8125 have custom Roms that I made for them.
Now my 2 iPhones are just jailbroken.

I love all 5 of my phones but the WinMo will always provell in my eyes because I can go pass of just the stock OS.
I can make it mine.

With apple you can't do that.

I haven't had an Iphone, but I have a friend who does.. It does seem like a great phone but it seems pretty limited on modifications..

I love how I can download programs or apps for my tilt and fully customize it to my liking.

I thing the Iphone is just the new "Rave".. just like the Razr was...

I def want to stay with my Tilt. :)

I hate to say it but I love my tilt but I'm trying to convience my company to buy all new WinMo phones. I have been looking at the samsung omnia. That is a great phone.

Yea the Touch Pro 2 seems like a great one. will have to choose soon I guess are fine away around apple's OS.

About to buy two 3GS for 150 each.

Oh and one thing the Tilt can do that the iPhone can't do with research and know how is "MMS"

Touch Pro 2, presently only released with T-Mobile....non-GSM. Look on eBay, no GSM yet either. Have to wait for AT$T.

iPhone's web surfing at least on Wi-Fi is a wonder of the modern world. It destroys anything else out there that's pocket sized. So if you're just looking on the basis of web surfing, you can't do better than iPhone.But from all accounts, the iPhone is painfully slow over EDGE for all but mobile-optimized website, and if it's mobile optimized, the Safari browser doesn't add all that much.
