Remap PTT button

Has anyone tried the file for the 8525 that maps the Push to talk button to some other application?

I'm reluctant to be the first to try it on the 8925.

No, but there is a Kaiser specific remap cab available over at xda-developers.com

I tried it and it did not work.
there is a registry edit to remap the PTT button where you can add to buttons to assign PTT push and PTT push and hold the steps can be found. I use for Voice Command and Voice recorder on my Tilt. you can find it on XDA but you will need a "registry editor".

i remapped the ptt button on my at&t tilt. i created another button in the buttons list, i can assign a program to it and it works great.... however, the one program i use the most (voice speed dial) is not in the program list to choose from.. does any one know how to accomplish this so i can use the ptt button to use the voice speed dial application
