What does it do that Opera doesn't? And vise versa.

If you want to watch videos on your mobile phone, Skyfire is in a league of it's own. Unlike other mobile browsers, including Opera, Skyfire supports the desktop version of Adobe Flash applications so sites, including those that serve-up video and music, are rendered exactly as you would expect - just like your PC. Skyfire supports all that's good about today's web - not just Flash, but also Silverlight, Ajax, QuickTime and more. Also, the rendering speed is not comaparable - Laptop magazine did an independent study recently and stated that we blew the Iphone, and others away in speed - a crucial part of enjoying mobile browsing.

Here is a quick demonstration of Opera vs. Skyfire ...

well last night i did some test. SKyfire v Opera. turns the skyfire is a great browser and so is Opera. but Skyfire has the flash player built in which is awesome for people who likes to watch movies and videos. but the respone time is a little slow for the zoom. but it is a good and reliable browser. but just can't wait till the new IE comes out

I like opera and have been using it for a year now. But, with skyfire you can do more on sites. Not just the video etc as mentioned. Like, with skyfire I can actually login to espn fantasy football and change lineups, login to my bank account, order my scripts at walgreens. Can't do that with Opera. So I'm keeping both on. But I noticed that I cannot view web pages on my office server (SB2003) though. I can with Opera or even IE. Not sure why.
